Who We Are
Founded in 1958, Acker Electric is a privately-owned, second-generation family business that has been operating and serving northeast Alabama for almost 60 years. Acker Electric is primarily a Small Business Electrical Contractor; however, we are also licensed by the State of Alabama as a General Contractor with additional self-perform capabilities. Our experience, ranging from small to multi-million dollar projects, allows us to provide flexible, creative management for any opportunity.
What We Do
Acker Electric Company, Inc. is a full-service electrical contractor performing work ranging from new construction, building improvements, maintenance projects, as well as service work. We also offer a project support and engineering services such as pre-construction planning, design-build solutions, cad drawings, project management and scheduling, and high/low voltage expertise.
